What did a girl do when she saw something outrageous happened during her day off? Of course, talked about it with her coworker on the very next day.
“The purse got to be an expensive purse.” My coworker commented after I told her what I saw in the park.
“I don't know. It had lots of bling bling, though. But still….that was outrageous, don't you think?”
“Did the purse have a big M.K. on it?"
Big M.K.?
“Maybe. I don't know.”
“Small gold key?”
Small gold key, on a purse? What for?
“Don't know.”
“Little LV, or big CC or DC all over the bag?”
I shook my head. “I honestly didn't remember anything particular about that purse except it had lot of bling bling and shaped like a pillow case with a small handle on top.”
My coworker laughed at my description.
“You don't know anything about good purse do you?”
“No, I don't. But I wouldn't care about my purse, good or bad, more than I care about myself. If I were her, I would put that plastic bag on the bench, I and my son need to seat on something clean, not the purse.“
My coworker shrugged.
“She had an expensive purse, she need to give it extra care.”
“You keep saying expensive purse, how much is expensive?”
“Several hundreds to several thousands.”
“American dollars.?”
“Of course, silly.”
I shook my head in disbelieve ; why on earth people spend that much money on a purse ?
You can't eat a purse, no good to stave your hunger. You can't wear a purse like a clothes, no good in keeping your body warm or cool. A purse is not a pair of shoes which able to support your posture and prevent fatigue to your legs. Basically a purse is a bag to carry things you need, any strong bag will do the job. Why paid so much?
"Several hundreds to several thousands….are you sure?” I had to ask.
My coworker nodded.
“Yup. Now you know, why they need to give it extra care. Some of them came with cleaning kit, too.“
“Cleaning kit?”
“Yes….” My coworker dragged her word to show me how ridiculous it was of me not to know anything about “good” “expensive” purse.
“Cleaning kit specially made to clean the expensive purse. You don't want to spend that much money on a purse and let it get dirty, would you?”
I shook my head, once more.
No, I wouldn't spend that much money on a purse which basically a bag with no other use but carrying your belonging.
No, I wouldn't spend my time “caring” for a purse, I have better things to care for.
If, I have to spend that much hard-earned money on a purse, that purse must know how to clean itself and….lay golden eggs. Then I would call that purse ......
...... a remarkably " good” purse.
